searching for info on John Clancy

Have only a little info on my great Grandfather John Clancy (no middle initial). He was born in Ireland in 1841, and immigrated to U. S. with Anne MacMahon (not sure of date )from a town (?) in County Clare. He joined his sister Mary (Clancy) Murphy who lived in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and subsequently married Anne MacMahon and moved to Medway Mass. He enlisted in the Marines in 1861 and fought in the American Civil War. He died in 1907. Want to trace his family history back in Ireland as well as his wife Anne MacMahon's. Any help will be appreciated.
