John Clancy's father was Owen Clancy born in 1815, the exact date of birth is unknown at this time. He was married to Margaret Dolan born 1818. The date they married is also unknown as is her date and place of death.
Anne McMahon,(b.1845)(some discussion as to whether her name was spelled Mc or Mac.) at any rate her parents were Barnard McMahon born in Ireland about 1819 and his wife was Margaret (born in Ireland about 1820)still researching her maiden name. I'll follow up with anything else I find.

: Have only a little info on my great Grandfather John Clancy (no middle initial). He was born in Ireland in 1841, and immigrated to U. S. with Anne MacMahon (not sure of date )from a town (?) in County Clare. He joined his sister Mary (Clancy) Murphy who lived in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and subsequently married Anne MacMahon and moved to Medway Mass. He enlisted in the Marines in 1861 and fought in the American Civil War. He died in 1907. Want to trace his family history back in Ireland as well as his wife Anne MacMahon's. Any help will be appreciated.
