Desparately searching for my Finn family Irish ancestors. I live near Tumbarumba NSW Australia. Australian death certificate says my Gt Grandfather Edward Edmond Finn b.Limerick c1859 arrived Australia c1876. Settled near Tenterfield NSW Australia and married Ellen Brailsford at Georges River NSW in 1884.
Other Oz family researchers seem to think county of origin was Cork (?)but nothing to substantiate it.
Edward Edmond's father was said to be Patrick Finn and Patrick's wife, Helen .....b.c1836, both Irish (dont know if Patrick and Helen immigrated).

Would dearly love to make contact with any interested Irish family history researcher / possible family member who might have links to the above, and especially anyone who know might know something of my family history pre-immigration to Australia.
