Aughneys..Newtown..Carlow

I have traced my husbands@ maternal line back to John Aughney,b.c1818.
In the 1901 Irish Census,he was living with his son,Michael Aughney,dau-in-law,Catherine(nee Byrne)and their children,at house no.2 Newtown(Agha,Carlow)
Also living there was Johns'wife,Alicia,b.c 1821.
John is down as Blind.
I have found a baptism for an Ann Aughney,in Bagenalstown 14th June 1846...father John Aughney > mother Alicia Ryan.
Have been looking for a marriage between John and Alicia,but because they married before 1864,there are no records,so I have had to look in Church Records...am unable to find this marriage.
Does anyone recognize any names here,or could anyone please help me ?
