Lucy PATTERSON (1806-1875) of Cleggan townland married Thomas MAGUIRE (1782-1867) on 24 Nov 1820 in the Mullaghdun parish church.
Also in Cleggan:
William, christened 01 June 1823, son of Thomas and Eliza PATTERSON.
Elizabeth, buried 30 Sept 1845, aged 17.
In Dornogagh:
Edward, christened 01 Feb 1829, son of Thomas and Eliza Patterson.
In Drumawillen:
Sarah, christened 21 Nov 1824, daughter of Thomas and Bessy Patterson.
George, buried 14 Jan 1832 aged 56
John, christened 06 April 1834, son of John and Eliza Patterson.
Ann, buried 19 Jan 1835, aged 16.
These townlands are all clustered together between Letterbreen and Belcoo.
Are these Pattersons all the same family? How is Lucy related to the rest of them? Are Eliza and Bessy the same person? Is this the William that emigrated to Canada with Lucy (Patterson) Maguire in 1847?
